Where are you based?

A Charleston Local is based in Charleston, South Carolina. All photography is captured locally throughout Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry, including places like Sullivan’s Island, Shem Creek, Rainbow Row, and historic downtown Charleston.

Are your coloring books suitable for kids or adults?

Our coloring books are designed for all ages — from Charleston-loving adults looking for a relaxing creative activity to kids who enjoy local landmarks and coastal scenes.

Do the images in your shop accurately reflect what the photography prints will look like in person?

We do our best to display each print as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and brightness. Some minimal cropping may occur depending on the print size selected to ensure the best composition and fit.

What kind of paper are your prints made on?

All prints are professionally printed on high-quality smooth matte paper with rich color and fine detail. Each piece is designed to feel timeless and gallery-worthy while still capturing the soft, coastal feel Charleston is known for.

How are prints packaged?

Prints are carefully packaged in either a rigid mailer or protective shipping tube depending on size to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition.

Do you offer framing?

We do not currently offer framing through the shop. However, for local customers, we love recommending Artizom Framing for beautiful custom framing that pairs perfectly with our prints.

Do you take custom orders?

Of course! If you see a photo on instagram that isn't in the shop or would like to order a custom size, please contact us to chat more.

Do you take wholesale orders?

Yes! Our Charleston Coloring Books and select products are available wholesale through Faire. You can shop wholesale directly through our Faire storefront or contact us for more information.

What is your return policy?

We want you to truly love your purchase.

Because prints are made to order, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges on print orders. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days and we’ll gladly offer a replacement or store credit.

For coloring books, hats, and other non-custom items, returns are accepted within 30 days for store credit. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Please contact us with your order number to begin a return.
